The boy is depressed. His mother takes him to the doctor, and the doctor asks him what's wrong. The kid answers, "The Universe is expanding." He then goes on to explain, "one day the universe will expand so much that everything will be pulled apart and destroyed. So, in a Universe like that, what's the point of anything?"
